Skinnybik Spelt fructose friendly
Skinnybik Spelt cookie has recently been laboratory tested for the various sugars that can make irritable bowel symptoms worse. Despite containing very small amounts of date and almonds, lab tests showed they are low in all these sugars. 1 serve (2 cookies, 30g) is low in excess fructose (<0.15g), low lactose (<1g), low fructans and GOS (<0.3g) and low in polyols (<0.2g).
My low fodmap patients have been eating 2-4 spelt cookies a day with no problems. |
